IVORY+ink Collective was built for couples by vendors. We have two main goals with this platform: educate and connect. Our articles serve as an online resource giving engaged couples honest, straightforward information and insight from wedding industry professionals. We answer wedding questions, highlight the details of real weddings, and show realistic inspiration. Our content is genuine and helpful with little fluff and no nonsense. Equally important is our goal of connecting couples with the right vendors. We are here to get you through the pre-planning stages. From your engagement, to your wedding style, and finally to selecting your ideal wedding vendors. From that point forward, you are in the supporting hands of your planner and other vendors to get you through to “I do!”
How?
Our weekly articles educate couples with pertinent information that they need to know to plan the perfect wedding. Vendors from all areas of the industry provide helpful insight – sharing what vendors wish you knew before getting started planning your wedding. We collect submissions for wedding planning questions, real wedding advice from previous brides, and inspirational content with details on vendors and costs. Our posts give tips and tricks of the trade. And let’s be honest (because that is what we do) most people are planning their wedding for the first time and have no clue where to begin. Begin here. With us. We will get you through the first leg of this journey and offer support through the final stages.
Once the engagement ring is on, planning the big day begins. It is an overwhelming sensation. You quickly realize the thousands of decisions that will need to be made. Start with our free WEDDING STYLE QUIZ. This will walk you through the main decisions that will need to be made and will point you in the right style direction. From there, enter our CURATION process where you will be matched with a Style Curator that will customize your wedding style. Your final wedding style board will give you an accurate representation of your wedding style and inspiration to show to your vendors. Lastly, the MARKETPLACE takes the information from your Curation process and matches you with vendors in your market based upon your preferences. This entire process facilitates and streamlines the beginning of your wedding planning journey. Proceed confidently into your wedding day knowing that you have a customized style and the perfect vendors to make your big day magical. (Style Curation & Marketplace launching in late 2020).
Why?
IVORY+ink Collective was founded by wedding industry professionals that were frustrated with the lack of complete education resources for brides and grooms. Due to no fault of their own, potential clients simply did not know what to ask or how to ask it. We set out to close the educational gap and guide couples on best practices. It aids both vendors and engaged couples for all involved to know the ends and outs of the wedding industry and why things are done a certain way.
The Wedding Style Quiz, Style Curation, and Marketplace was built to give both clients and vendors access to real options matched on similar credentials. The pool of vendors is massive to most clients and there is no way for vendors to truly connect with their ideal couples. Our process remedies that issue.
Who?
Lynsie Blau and Taylor Bradford became close friends by working together in the wedding market of Dallas-Fort Worth. One random Wednesday the two met up for drinks and to vent about industry issues. IVORY+ink Collective was born and is scheduled to enter the market at full capacity in late 2020.
Lynsie owns two wedding venues in the DFW area: BRIK and The Ostreum. Taylor Bradford owns and operates Sugar Creek Event Rentals and Sugar Creek Creative where she has a stunning TAYLOR’D™ collection of speciality event rentals and curates beautiful, custom wedding designs for couples. Together, with their vast network of vendor friends, they are a force to be reckoned with and will bring IVORY+ink Collective major success for both brides and vendors.
When?
IVORY+ink Collective has completed isn’t first goal of offering insightful information to wedding couples. Check out our extensive collection of articles or submit your burning wedding-related questions and/or wedding for possible publication on our website. Our INKlist (Find a Wedding Vendor) is continuing to grow as more elite wedding vendors are selected for the exclusive list. Coming late 2020, our Curation and Marketplace will be complete and will be adding couples and vendors to the ranks of happy clients.
